Contact Management in Unibox

Manage contact details, notes, categories, reminders, and tags directly from the inbox sidebar.


Contact Detail Panel (Right Panel)

The right panel provides context and actions for the selected thread.

Campaign Assignment

Shows which campaign this thread is linked to. Buttons:

  • "Assign to Campaign" — if not yet linked to any campaign
  • "Change Campaign" — switch to a different campaign
  • "Remove from Campaign" — unlink from the current campaign

This is useful when replies come from unknown sources or need to be reassigned.

Notes

A free-text notes field for jotting down context about this conversation — call outcomes, follow-up reminders, deal details, etc. Notes auto-save when you click away (blur event). An unsaved indicator appears if you have pending changes, with a manual save button as backup.

Category Selection

Six quick-select buttons to manually override or confirm the AI's category assignment:

  • Interested (green)
  • Neutral (gray)
  • Not Interested (red)
  • Blacklist (dark)
  • Callback (blue)
  • Booked (purple)

Clicking a category instantly updates the thread's classification. This also updates the badge in the thread list and the stats in the top bar.

Actions Menu

  • Add to Pipeline — opens the pipeline modal (see below) to create a lead from this contact
  • Star / Unstar — star for quick access via the Starred tab
  • Mark as Read / Unread — toggle read status
  • Archive — remove from the main thread list (can be retrieved)
  • Block Sender — block all future emails from this sender

Reminder System

Set reminders to follow up on this thread:

  • Today — reminder appears today
  • Next workday — reminder on the next business day
  • Next month — reminder in 30 days
  • Clear reminder — remove the reminder
  • Done with reminder — mark the reminder as completed

Threads with active reminders show a reminder badge in the thread list so you don't forget.

Tag Management

Create and assign custom tags to threads for your own organization. Examples: "VIP", "Needs manager approval", "Send case study", "Hot lead". Tags can be:

  • Created with custom names
  • Applied to any thread
  • Removed individually
  • Used as a filter in the thread list
